Play the Best

Scoresheet Baseball has been providing fantasy's most exciting combination of realism, strategic depth and in-season prediction for over 35 years. It is the only fantasy game that uses current year stats to simulate complete 162-game seasons, one at-bat at a time.

Draft your team in the MLB preseason and build a complete lineup, rotation and bullpen each week of the season. Then watch a play-by-play simulation of each game with outcomes weighted by players' MLB performance during that week.

“One night I found myself glued to the computer, living and dying with every at-bat, hoping, praying, ultimately losing.

I wanted to stop. I couldn’t. Because there is something so alluring about Scoresheet, so different from every other fantasy game, so much better, that it was useless.

A dozen years later, the addiction happily rages on.”

Fantasy grounded in reality

Scoresheet gives you the power to build a team like a major-league GM, as opposed to fantasy sports focused on categorical stat accumulation. Do you believe a team of contact hitters can take down sluggers? A deep, lights-out bullpen can silence your opponents? A stifling defense can give you the edge?

Enjoy exciting live drafts with your friends, or participate in our online drafts to give yourself plenty of time to weigh your options between each pick. Piece together the roster you think can win a real baseball game, then negotiate trades to fine-tune your strategy from week to week and year to year.

“Scoresheet is the only game that I’ve seen that combines defense and positional scarcity in any meaningful way.

It’s the only fantasy game
that I play.”

Players are more than five categories

Each batter’s actual numbers of singles, doubles, triples, home runs, walks, strikeouts and at-bats that week in the majors are used to weight potential outcomes – not just batting average and number of home runs.

Each at-bat weighs the hitter's performance against the performance of the opposing pitcher to simulate what might happen if they had faced each other in the real world.

Defense matters. Every fielder in Scoresheet has a fielding range based on real-world performance, and if they commit an error in the majors they're more likely to do so in Scoresheet. Steals are great, but can turn sour if a player gets thrown out more often than they succeed.

baseball fantasy games . . .

subtler, richer and more textured."

Take managerial control

Once your roster is built, go beyond simply choosing starters and reserves - build a detailed lineup.

Decide who should attempt steals, lay down bunts, and come in as a pinch hitter.

Create different platoons against righties and lefties.

Decide how you want to use your starters - will you hook them as soon as they get in trouble, or trust them to weather a couple of bad innings?

Which of your relievers will be your workhorses, and which will you reserve for high-leverage moments?

Will you substitute in a speedy center fielder to help secure a win?

"My favorite game is still Scoresheet Baseball. Play the game, you’ll love it!"
